Northern Lights Dinner Cruise

Step aboard Hermes II, a wooden boat built in 1917 and restored for trips from Tromsø.

On clear nights, you may be able to see the Northern Lights from the boat as you cruise through the fjord.

The trip includes a meal from local fishmonger Dragøy. The menu consists of a warm fish cake as a starter, creamy fish soup as the main course and lefse for dessert.

The crew speaks Norwegian and English and will tell you more about Hermes II and its history along the northern coast.

There are warm indoor lounges, blankets, thermal suits, two guest toilets and safety equipment available on board. Coffee, tea and toddy are included. Snacks, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages can be purchased on board.

• Duration: Approx. 3 hours.
• Dress warmly and bring a hat, mittens and warm shoes for time on deck.
