Arctic Bucketlist: Snowshoeing, Reindeer Feeding & Storytelling

Join a guided snowshoe trip through the forests and winter landscape of Malangen.

The snowshoe walk takes you through snowy forest areas, past frozen lakes and to viewpoints overlooking the surrounding landscape. The activity is suitable for first-time snowshoe users, but a reasonable level of fitness is required.

During the day, you will also visit the reindeer yard, where you can feed the reindeer and learn more about their role and importance in the region.

Lunch is served in a traditional lavvu and includes a warm Sami bidos meal.

• Pickup: Sjøgata 5B, 9008 Tromsø. Please arrive at the pickup point in good time.
• Duration: Approx. 8 hours.
• Activity level: Medium. Good physical condition is required.
• Recommended minimum age: 8 years.
• Vegetarian food: Available with advance notice.
• What to bring: Warm personal clothing suitable for winter conditions.
